Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, and Our Saviour’s is committed to raising awareness and supporting this important cause.

Our pastor will be wearing blue streaks in her hair as a symbol of support, and we are planting a Pinwheel Garden to represent hope for children. Pinwheels are available for $2 each, with proceeds benefiting a local Child Advocacy Center. Planting will begin after Sunday services—let us know if you’d like to participate.

This Sunday is also recognized as Blue Sunday, a nationwide day of prayer and awareness. We encourage everyone to wear blue in support as we continue working together to help prevent child abuse.

Blue and pinwheels are national symbols of awareness, representing both the seriousness of child abuse and the hope we share for every child.
